About the work
With this installation on the idea of “AFTER WORK”, Leo Pum investigates the re-contextualization of the socio-technical landscape generated by work tools in the world of geological transformation.
Through the use of lasers, Leo Pum creates a new interpretation of the topographic. This horizontal representation of a spatial reality, typically associated with office environments where measurements are taken, is a key design decision in this installation. The same happens with the rocky fossils and drill bits that burst into the office out of scale, creating a tense atmosphere.
Context
The place of coordination of these tools is invaded by the landscape under construction, thus enhancing the object-human links.
